Office-keyboard in another language
Our reader Caesar has a particularly frustrating problem: the keyboard does not respond as expected.
Suddenly, my laptop has been changed several key features of it. It happened suddenly and do not really know why. In the fixed something similar happened to me also. In this case the problem I can think of fewer keys, particularly in the two keys on the stress.
This problem, which many already know and many others you will have experienced, is given because it has changed the keyboard configuration. Probably, after pressing the keyboard shortcut Alt + Left Shift .
It's not surprising accidentally press this shortcut, since these keys are used extensively in programs like Photoshop, so the overnight, we can take the unpleasant surprise that the keyboard behaves as an English keyboard, with inconvenience this entails.
Disable this function is very simple:
* In Windows XP , go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Settings , tab Languages , button details .
* In Windows Vista , you must also go to Regional and Language Settings in Control Panel, but then the tab is keyboards and languages , and you must click on Change keyboards .
The window that appears in both cases is very similar to the following:
You may not have the intention to change the keyboard layout ever again. If this is your case, you can choose the languages you do not want, and click on Remove .
Leave only one language will solve the problem, but can also occur if you use very occasionally a keyboard other than Spanish, and do not want to walk changing "accidentally." To avoid this, check out the tab Advanced Settings Keys .
Choose Between input languages and press Change key sequence .
In this window, select Do not assigned in both columns and click OK . In this way you'll never change the keyboard configuration error. However, you can keep changing it manually or from the Control Panel or from the Language bar.
